GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My time so far at my school has been great. All of the teachers have helped me so much and really want to help each and every student. The administration knows my wants and needs for school. My overall time there has been amazing.

I love my experience at Franklinville Central School. I love that it is a small district, so you know everyone really well and have friendships with teachers that will last long after high school. It is just a great small town with fantastic people and am glad I grew up and go to school here.

What I liked about going here were the teachers. The teachers were always friendly and willing to work to help you. However, this is one of the only things I truly liked. This school is way too focused on sports. Sports get more honors and awards than an academically bright student. This school is also very clique-y. Hopefully you have the right last name, or have fun warming the bench or not getting chosen for a scholarship.

Great experiences personally. It's a shame that negative comments can have such an impact while positive get brushed along. Be the solution and not the problem.

Horrible, this whole town is ran by a click group of people who only care about making themselves better. Funding goes to hiring their own relatives for miniscule jobs that they only take so they can get some kind of authority in their lives. Look at the town hall alone, everybody there is related....

I have had 5 children attend thins school and this school leaves a lot to be desired. For the amount of school taxes we pay, we get little in return. They have cut after-school programs for the kids stating "budget constraints" The athletic director/football coach is more concerned about the footbal...
