My experience in Irvington High School has been interesting, to say the least. Academics have always been easy for me, but in Irvington, being smart isn't enough. A lot of it is about how lucky you get with your teachers, how well you can plan your year out. The academics didn't cause me too much stress, since I've been lucky with my time there. However, our school is quite cliquey, and it can be challenging to make new friends.

Education is fine, it really depends on what teachers you get. School itself definitely needs some renovation. Best marching band in the area, with great music and marching instructors. Benchmark projects prepare students pretty well.

Classrooms are clean and food is good given it's free for all students this year, but getting your requested classes/changing classes may be difficult and the roofs of the hallways often leak.

I’ve been at this school for four years since 2021. I’m giving this school two stars, not because it is a terrible learning experience, but because of how it is run. There is a break period during school days called Advisory. They were basically made to give students a break, study on other subjects,...

SPECIAL EDUCATION HERE IS A JOKE- NO STABILITY WITH TEACHER- para educators know more confidential information than they should. THEY LOST AN AUTISTIC STUDENT FOR MORE THAN A FEW HOURS. Asking for a plan ofFuture safety of students and staff and principal hicks would NOT provide anything. The apolog...
