Irvington amazingly prepares students for collegiate courses and tests students ability to work under pressure very well.

Our school is generally inclined towards arts, being an arts magnet school. This is highly beneficial for students who would like to pursue art, however, there tends to be a lack of resources for other career options, such as neuroscience and psychology, which I would like to pursue. I also believe the food should be better, as I have sworn off school food because I have gotten food poisoning from this food, creating bad memories.

Irvington High School is very focused on academics. The students are all very motivated academically and focused on getting into a good school, sometimes so much that it can be slightly toxic. But, generally speaking, all of the students are very nice and friendly to each other. Most of the teachers are also very nice, except for the exception of a few.

i am now an alumni of irvington and my parents went here along with my brother. irvington can seem all sunshine and rainbows but this school environment is a joke. the admin are useless, only some teachers really care about their students. all they want are students to overwork themselves and get go...
