Education is fine, it really depends on what teachers you get. School itself definitely needs some renovation. Best marching band in the area, with great music and marching instructors. Benchmark projects prepare students pretty well.

Irvington High School is an overall positive environment, but it is too academically focused. Parent involvement hurts the school's reputation, and the mindset of the Irvington people is too academically based to the point of harm.

i am now an alumni of irvington and my parents went here along with my brother. irvington can seem all sunshine and rainbows but this school environment is a joke. the admin are useless, only some teachers really care about their students. all they want are students to overwork themselves and get go...
