Gardena High is a broke school with lazy teachers that don't like their students. They also don't really make their students feel welcome or safe since they just want their checks. They also lack teaching us basic life skills like how to get a job or build credit and that makes it hard for some of us that have no outside help. I was abused so I'm trying to get out of my house after I graduate and I will unfortunately be doing it all by myself which will be hard so i believe this scholarship and getting a job will help me greatly with my financial burdens. Thank you.

Overall a great campus with many opportunities for one to succeed. Public school located in the heart of the city, a great mixture of kids with some very solid teachers there. Good staff but like every other school there is the good and bad. I would like to see a variety of clubs, there are very few clubs to apply to but the ones they do offer are great and make you feel welcomed. Staff is very involved with students and parents, a very friendly and welcoming campus.

My child has been there for almost 2 years and the school has been ok but there has been a few concerns as to some of the teachers. Other than that this far there has not been many issues.

People may say negative things about this school, but honestly it's a really good school. The problem isn't the teachers, it's the students, how can a teacher get a student to do their work if the child doesn't want to succeed. I attended Gardena it is a very fun school and gets students involved wi...

If you're serious about getting your child prepared for college, do not send them to Gardena. It does not provide a social or academic environment that prepares students for higher education. I taught at Gardena & over the two years, I realized that many of the teachers there should have left the cl...
