My overall experience with Garrett High School is pretty good. I think the school and staff genuinely care about the students. One thing that I would like to see is more SAT prep classes.

I have gone to the Garrett Keyser School System all my life. The whole school mostly works around football, they cut funding for the arts and sciences and basically every other class to put into football, and the team sucks.

I love Garrett it's an amazing school much better than others in the area. Once I transferred my life got much better

This is an awesome school. Don't let statistics and state numbers/rates fool you! I moved my family here when both of my kids were starting High School/Junior High and in retrospect, I'm happier for having my kids attend GHS than I am about moving to the area. My kids were previously in the Fort Way...

I graduated from GHS in 1965 - yes, all of 47 years ago. I consider it an honor to be a Railroader even this many years hence. I remember her as a small school with big ambitions. I went on to become a high school teacher of 37 years and a substitute even today, but of all the schools I have served,...
