GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My best experience about this school is the students that I interact with, how I can make new friends along the way and get really close to them. How we meet up at lunch and hang out or walk to class together just to enjoy each other's company, it makes the day better just by seeing the people that make you laugh and smile. My worst part would be the work I guess, how sometimes at the end of the day you're just drained from learning and writing. You're just counting down the minutes until it's time to leave to go back home, school can be exciting, but also draining at the same time.

My high school was great because it was friendly and everyone knew everyone because we were in a small town. One thing I disliked however is the sports program it was all about fun and most coaches didn't care that much to win or to put there athletes into colleges to play sports so there was no help for athletes.

GCHS is a school with limited resources, however, the teachers and staff there make the most out of their circumstances and provide an excellent quality of education for students.

The only thing the school is lacking is the communication within the office. The administration is v...
