GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

There are quite a variety of extracurricular activities if you are into sports. We do have speech, band, choir, and a STEM club also. But not a huge variety if you are not in sports. Most popular extracurricular activities are probably sports. Although we have a really good speech program too. Administrative support mostly at sports events.

This school has a lot of good athletes. Most of the coaches are pretty good, some not so good. Quite a few students are involved in sports. School spirit could be better. I am not aware of any fitness programs.

I am unsure of the health and safety policies. I am not a student who has been bullied, but there are many students who do get bullied, but nothing seems to get done about it. There are some students who are rude to teachers and others, but they do not get reprimanded. We don't really have a school nurse, but there is a traveling nurse that comes to school once a week. I hope my school is safe, but I do not know how safe. We do finally have locked doors with cameras and have a security system, but it often goes through my mind, what I would do if someone came into our school or came to school with a weapon such as a gun. I am not confident that our school is well prepared for this.
