Overall, my experience at George has been extremely positive. The community is very diverse and strong, and the teachers are extremely supportive. Although the athletics could perform better, I still find the teams to be extremely tight-knit and strong regardless.

I was a George Washington High School student and I loved the community there, but one part drawback the happiness of the culture: the safety. The school was founded in 1960, and was originally used as a military based until it was converted, and the age of the school affects the appliances there causing heating issues, as well as plumbing problems. And with such a diverse population there Is bound to be some discrimination to happen. Causing fights and violence

The programs in this school are very interesting and helpful. This school offers a lot of opportunities for your future even so it is in need of a lot of resources and money. Due to the low budget in the school it doesn't have very good faculties, but over all I really like this school and their community.

DPS gave me no options for schooling. My son was 15. I sent him to live with his noncustodial dad and that blew up in my f...

My daughter attended for four years. She graduated this year and they did a wonderful job through COVID.GW was a great school for my daughter: it has advanced and AP classes as well as the typical Public School option of a "regular" class. While this sometimes leads students to feel as though there a...

I got to graduate but didn't have to attend classes or learn much. I did play basketball here but failed out of college.
