Across the road from Greenfield Junior High, Greenfield Elementary School has been home to the Greenfield Gators for nearly fifty years, teaching children in pre-kindergarten through sixth grade as part of the Gilbert Public Schools District.
At this A-Rated School by the Arizona Department of Education, the faculty and staff embrace a welcoming and positive environment to help all students succeed. When it comes to academic success, Gators consistently earn test scores in reading and math that are significantly above the district and state averages, helping Greenfield to rank in the top 10% of elementary schools in Arizona.
In addition to a core curriculum, the school integrates art, music, library and physical education as well as a Digital Citizenship program. This way, students can become well-rounded individuals prepared for the 21st century. Gifted education and special education services are also provided for students who need to excel at their own pace.
Outside of the normal school day, students can also participate in the district’s enrichment program which includes chess, dance, music, science, LEGO engineering, Kinder Robotics, Young Rembrandt and beginners sports training, among others.
All aspiring Gators can explore on fields trips, whether to the Phoenix Zoo or local landmarks, or enjoy fun school activities from popular Donuts with Dads and spirit events to musical performances.

I have worked at many other schools and this school by far exceeds my expectations. The family involvement is always top notch. And Administrative staff and teachers really care about every students success. I would highly recommend this school to anyone with children in this area.

The school does a great job of working with each student individually and considering the needs of each student. The teachers are very communicative and they do an excellent job at keeping parents involved and aware.
