San Tan Charter School is a community school located within the Morrison Ranch neighborhood in Gilbert, Arizona. San Tan Charter School offers traditional, gifted and Montessori programs to support students' diverse needs. Striving to build upon the individual success of each student, creativity, critical thinking and happiness are fostered within the school community.
Educational professionals instruct students on a learning path best suited to individual needs and interests. The Mainstream Program sets a consistent daily routine, the Montessori Program allows students to discover their interests in a self-paced environment and the Gifted Program encourages connecting concepts and deep thinking.
San Tan Charter School offers tuition-free education at a kindergarten through sixth grade campus off of Recker Road and a seventh through 12th grade campus off of Power Road. The student's emotional, social and academic needs are equally important at San Tan Charter School. Individual school and home workloads can be set through a collaboration of the teachers, students and parents. Team sports and electives are also offered, and there is a preschool for kids aged 1-6.

The teachers are great. I love my English, History, and Film studies teachers. People are nice to each other. One big thing I wish I had help on was finding scholarships. I would like to see the administration help kids with college and scholarships.

I Graduated in 2020 and went off to college to get my degree. San Tan Charter School made me feel welcome coming from a big public school where I was not cared about. I took several AP classes and felt prepared for college. I played several sports and loved every second of it! This small-town family feel has always been there when I came onto campus.

Do not bring your children here. This school has teachers uncertified to teach. I was a hardworking AP student my whole life came here my junior year and I am terrified to go to college because how badly this school failed me. I advise you to look for a different school.

I have three kids that go to this school and I could not be happier! I have one kid in the gifted program, one in the Montessori and one in preschool, it's nice to have all the different options! My kiddo loves gifted camp, and my other kiddo loves that he can do sports in 5th grade.
