My overall high school experience has been positive. There are a lot of clubs to participant in and the school is supportive of new ideas. The facilities are outdated as well as out sports fields.

Nothing entirely special about the school although it wasn't bad. Solid teachers people and faculty, only issues I had were my guidance counselor not knowing much about the college process, and due to that being mostly unable to help me. Leaving me to figure out a lot of things on my own about scholarships etc.

It's a great school filled with great people. There are lots of amazing opportunities for most students, but it is of course limited just due to the location of the school being in Maine. The school is very accepting, but is a little extreme in these aspects. As someone who fits into the stereotype of a "minority", I don't exactly like being singled out. I know many people like me just want to live their lives. It's great to bring awareness to things of course, but not separate people even if you are trying to "support" them. Gorham Highschool is connected to the University of Southern Maine, giving the students opportunities to take AP courses and gain college credits. These cover pretty much all of the core classes and a few electives that you would be taking freshman year of college. This school is definitely better than lots of others around it. This is both safety and academic wise. Even with all of the shootings I still feel safe here and I know many others do too.

Gorham High is an wonderful school. Which have, I believe some of the best History teachers in the state. I'm a Junior, and time has flown by.
