GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My favorite thing about Poplar Springs High School is how everyone is basically family. Everyone knows and loves each other. The only thing I would change would be to add more sports and more class opportunities.

It's a small School with a great environment. Everyone feels like family. As a recent former student I can say I always felt very safe. Some of the teachers are lazy, but the few good ones make up for it. Has a strong beta club and robotics team and girls sports, boys not so much. Lunches are free and not so great.

As a former graduate of 03, some of the teachers just didnt care enough. I had no problem, but i saw others that strugled and recieved no help. Some teachers supported favoritism too much. The need to do their job instead of playing buddy with the kids. Other than that, the school was just fine.
