If possible, I would avoid this school district. Lack of integrity and character in teaching staff and a lackluster passion for actually teaching students should be reason enough but add to it if you try to address issues with the staff they will retaliate and bully your child as if they are a child...

My children came through this school and had positive experiences during this critical time in their lives. The teachers care about their students and offer real responsibilities for students to develop as leaders. My kids were challenged and discovered new interests during their middle school years...

Grain Valley Middle School has some dedicated teachers but also a few that don't seem to be as dedicated to teaching. My child struggles in school and yet some of the teachers choose not to have after school tutoring which I believe would improve my child's academic learning. :(
