GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Grand Terrace High School was normal. The best parts are the school events held. I feel the school always holds school events to allow the students to have better high school experience. I also don't feel bullying or discrimination is a big issue at our school personally and feel the school tries to show equality amongst students. I feel the worse part about my school is that it's not environmentally friendly. I would love to see a more environmentally conscious school with recycling bins. I also feel my school should be more supportive of other sports such as girls tennis or cheer. Overall I would love to see those changes in my school and hope that the positives further flourishes.

I really like my school Grand Terrace High School, they prepare students for life after graduation and make sure that you have the tools necessary to succeed in life. They make you feel welcome and have the best look out for your interest.

Grand terrace High School is a decent school, I like how most of the teachers actually show that they care and that they are there for you, but some teachers just go there to do their job and I get that but they should also show interest in our personal lives too.

Fights are there all the time no control at all. I would never sen...

Good experiences with administration, teachers, and staff. No school is perfect, and GTHS is fairly new but new administration is looking how to make improvements. GTHS always puts students first.
