Granite Hills High School is a high school that is a big part of the sport industry.based on the players that make our sport teams the best there is in San Diego. Not only are we on of the best schools in San Diego for ports, we. are also a very successful academic school. So, the best parts of the this school is knowing that i'm surronded by sporty people and very school coordinated people. On the other hand, not knowing what group you could fit in may be hard. For me, I lost all my friends and have no idea what to do with the people that i'm surronded with and what to do to lift myself up from those people. The problem at my school is their are more rude than nice people.

Although I have not been to many other High Schools, I don't regret my choice on going to Granite Hills. With the many activities and opportunities at Granite you could excel in any subject, finding your own footing comes with time but with the teachers I had they were helpful and wanted to see everyone succeed. My experience at Granite would be described as challenging. The classes at times were too big and when I needed help it was difficult to get the help I needed. The teachers tired their best, but the downside would be the class sizes. On the other hand, teachers did have a diversity in teaching styles, they would have visuals for the visual learners and on hands learning for this who are on hands learner and would explain it for those who were auditory learners. I would like the future of Granite Hills to have smaller classes and ensure all students in the class understand the material before moving on to another topic.

During my Sophomore year and Junior this school allowed me to grow and flourish into the person I am today. From the school spirt to the people in my class. My teachers were always there to support me when it came to my grades and challenge myself on assignments I didn't think I could do. Although as I start my Senior year it became a challenge motivate myself to get to school on time and to finish off the school year strong. A lot of my friends left for college so it has been a hard time adjusting but I wouldn't change my decision of going to this school.

The campus is very nice and the staff is caring and well trained. It is not an easy time in education (with such polarity in society) but the staff does a great job at helping students to become thinkers and caring people. The fact that it is an IB school is a huge plus. This is the program diplomat...

Ugh, what a disaster this school is. Every body there is extremely rude including the staff and students. There are multiple cases of drug and alcohol incidents. The school is very old, and does not age well. The location of this school is awful. Your student is WAY better off at Valhalla or Steele...

My daughter attends Granite Hills and is having a wonderful experience. As with any school you have your typical groups of youth who buck the system. My daughter has been in Honors/AP/IB classes so tends to interact with the students who want to be there. She is in her Junior year, but within the fi...
