Overall, this school has given me a lot of positives. My teachers have helped me improve as a student and person due to their interconnectedness with me and ability to slow things down. When they slow things down, I can comprehend better. Their willingness to help comforts me; as a result, I can ask any questions, knowing that I'll be respected and given adequate help.

North is an interesting place. It is on the cusp of several different communities, which can make it difficult to build true community. However, they provide numerous opportunities for students, both academically and through extracurriculars, to help them get involved and build their own little community. It can be a hard thing to navigate, but what high school isn't?

Overall Grayslake North was a good school. There were many clubs and activities to get involved. Most importantly, I had a lot of teachers there that went above and beyond to see their students as people first. One thing I would change is how the study halls were structured.

They also didn’t do anything but tell them when I said I wasn’t being treated well at home, and did nothing about my bullying. The staff do not listen, th...

My three children love this school. They are all supported in academia (both AP and IEP). The children are able to manage their intense sports schedules with their homework due to block scheduling. Sports, atmosphere, and the teachers are great.
