GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Transferred my junior year, the culture is amazing, everyone has so much spirit and shows up for each other at games and other events. The only thing is that I wish I could have been introduced to all of my other admin when I first got there, as well as if there is a way to make sure the required classes are scheduled first, because I almost didn't catch that I wasn't enrolled in a class I needed to graduate.

Some of the teachers really make going to class fun, enjoyable and worth it. There is also a selection of teachers and/or staff who make it hard to have the motivation to attend school.

My experience has been very good, as all of the teachers were nice and accomodating. One thing that makes me rate it 4/5 stars and not 5/5 are some of the other students. I know that the kids aren't reflective of the school's efforts, but that's just my experience. Besides some childish behaviors, all the teachers are really nice and good at teaching.

Moved in recently. Treated professionally by staff. Student is challenged with academics appropriate to their learning and has integrated well into sports and activities.

We have been impressed with the depth and variety of educational opportunities given to our daughter who currently attends GFHS. The administration is incredibly engaged and involved. The teachers and staff are student-driven and go above and beyond to meet educational, social and emotional needs of...

I graduated from GFHS several years ago and I now have teens going there. school spirit is strong. I also feel they have an exceptional arts program with choir, band, orchestra, theater, art, and photography. Academically I feel both HS are struggling due to changing times and inability for criteria...
