I had to move my son from the elementary school he's attended since preschool, per a district change. Needless to say he was, and is upset. He thinks I'm punishing him, but I don't have a choice, Now a parent can be fined & face jail time if we're caught enrolling a child in a school that's not in the district they live in. These school districts should NOT be able to move the areas of a district just because they don't want to pay, STOP BEING SO CHEAP, HIRE MORE AND PAY THESE TEACHER'S BETTER MONEY, it's not like the school was overcrowded, now my son has to attend the Baileyton Elementary School, an EXTREMELY SMALL, OVERCROWDED, THE TEACHER'S ARE COMPLETELY BURNT OUT, MY SON WAS AN HONOR ROLL STUDENT, NOW HIS GRADES HAVE DROPPED, HE'S GOT VERY FEW FRIENDS, NEVER WANTS TO ATTEND ANY SCHOOL FUNCTIONS, MY BOY IS BEING SET UP FOR FAILURE!LIFT THIS PENALTY & GIVE OUR CHILDREN A FIGHTING CHANCE AT LEARNING.
