I think the benefits of Four Rivers are also it's downfalls. Being so small, you realy get to know all of the teachers and faculty as well as fellow students even in other grades. But because it's so small, there aren't as many opportunities to study different things based on your unique interests. You can't choose which classes you take since for example there is only one science class for the whole grade.

School is great for the most part. The small size of the classes is a blessing and a curse at the same time. On the one hand it is really nice to have such an intimate class setting in which you really get a personalized education. On the other hand, it is really easy to get sick of seeing the same people each and every day and there is really no way to avoid them. Also we don't have a gym... Other than that I really enjoy all the commitment the staff have here. It seems they all really care about us, the students.

Amazing and accepting school with great teachers and inclusive community. Although it's really small and some classes don't prepare you for college if you plan to go.

Four Rivers has been a fantastic school choice for our family. It manages to offer both experiential learning and rigorous traditional academics, in addition to strong extra curricular sports and club opportunities. The social and emotional atmosphere is uniquely positive.

This school is fantastic! The administration and staff are all on the same page and the leadership and messaging is clear and consistent. The core values are exemplified in the structure of the days, the year and the courses. The small size is a real plus because it allows for a true "No Child Left...

Don't like it at all, there is a lack of sports and extracurricular activities which dosen't sustain a child outside of school.

Two (and soon three) of my grandchildren attend Four Rivers. What they may lack in quantity (athletic or extracurricular activities) they make up for in quality. They are receiving an excellent education, with plenty of hands on learning opportunities. The dramatic arts presentations are outstanding...
