There have been many times in the past couple years but especially in this last year where the administration has failed to communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers. There is also a severe lack of school spirit especially when it comes to sporting events most likely due to the fact that a lot of our sports teams are not great. The performing arts generally seem to be good both choir and theater have gone to state the past few years and the band is good as well.

Attending Gresham high school for the past four years has shown me how unprepared I have been for the future and how little my school is working to prepare me for the future.

I believe that Gresham High School would be the perfect high school experience because the teachers are genuine and truly want their students to succeed. The reason I don't believe this is a perfect high school however is because the administrators do not care about communication with parents or even with students and faculty for that matter. The safety of the school has gone down significantly and the administrators do not care to communicate this because they still want people to believe that the school is nearly perfect. They also do not take student feedback well and are surprised when there is an uproar when something changes and they do not inform anyone.

This school has some good teachers, but what they have in kind teachers, they lack in safety and communication. There have been several threats in just a few weeks of school. The school has gone into “secure” twice in the last two weeks. There has been little to no contact with family. There has bee...

I can never talk to one person. Constantly changing councilors and staff, missed communication from department to department, and an inability of the school to admit that kids are falling between the cracks is frustrating and unfair to the students and parents. My daughter will attend Springwater bas...

This school is terrible. I've tried to attend here twice. The main part of the school is over a century old. They are bitter rivals. And when my sister attended they lost her transcripts. Very few teachers are actually helpful. And they spend all they're money for school sports and not something wor...

I graduated from Gresham High School in 2010. All 4 years of HS I transferred to GHS because I was out of district. One of the reasons I transferred every single year was that no other school offered AVID, I can proudly say that I was part of the first generation of AVID. This school has resources t...
