GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

What I like most about my school is the willingness of the students and staff to make a difference in our school. The staff take time out of their day just to check in and make sure you are okay. Although my school is great there are some bad things about my school. One of them is not all students follow the willingness of the other students and can be very troublesome.

Griswold only cared about the sports. You were practically shamed if you weren't involved. I was involved for a time but quit sports cause of depression and the bullying didn't help matters at all. Most teachers and coaches didn't care enough to help in any way in regards to the bullying.

This school lacks in morals and manners. It is VERY clicky considering they are a school of 300 or so students. teachers seem to get anoid at students that ask for help or express that they "don't get it". sports teams are not arranged as to ability but rather who your parents are resulting to not v...

The Griswold school district focuses on the "easy" students, the ones that get the good grades and do exactly what the teachers ask. When it comes to children with ADHD the teachers have not been taught how to teach them. Those students fall through the cracks if the parents don't speak up, getting...

This school has a lot to be desired. the great teachers are being run out and mediocre ones are being retained. if your child has a learning disability you should avoid the programs here It is just as easy to get "lost" in this small town school as it is in a large metropolitan school, but the learn...

The shift from elementary to middle school is more than difficult for students in the district. In elementary they get plenty of differentiated instruction and project-based learning, and have high achievement. When in middle school, that all changes. In most classes it is worksheets and more worksh...
