GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Technology in the school, such as chromebooks and projectors, are often broken. School wifi is slow and makes online schoolwork virtually impossible.

I liked some of the teachers and students, but there is a problem with racism and violence. I'd like more action to be taken against negative student and teacher behavior.

Teachers cater to cliche groups/athletes in the school and don't prepare us for the real world. One admin is sexist and the other three really do try hard. I'm ready to be out of there.

Moved to Fort Gordon with husband's PCS and chose Columbia Co. Schools over Richmond Co. because of test scores. Chose Harlem High school over other Columbia Co schools like Greenbriar & Lakeside because there is absolutely no diversity and as my children we raised on Fort Bragg, DOD schools, they w...
