The school itself is fine. There is a large number of people that deal with drugs and what not on campus, but if you avoid it the school itself is fine.

I have gained so much from this school compared to my last. They not only have a better curriculum in my opinion, but I have found where I fit in and have also found friends that I think will be for a lifetime. This school has given me more opportunities to be involved in academics and extracurriculars, but also for me to grow as a person, and become who I am today.

Harrison has new, well-kept facilities. They also offer many Advanced Placement courses as well as concurrent college credit through the local community college (Northark). The award winning athletic programs and stellar choir programs drum up much community support. As with any school, the arts are underfunded, however.

Harrison High School was an awesome school for my son. He was an honor student who was in many academic activities. The teachers there care so much for their students. It was a great experience for him and his friends. The band also is an award winning band.
