The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This school is not good for anyone wanting to come here, it's very hard even find friends who will be there for the long run. The school sucks at making the environment nice, not to mention if someone is getting very good scores on their tests and are smart enough to understand 8th grade math have to learn at the same pace as everyone else because the schools middle school is too small to even have more classrooms, no variety of after school clubs and we have a field that the school doesn't even own, they had to make an announcement for kids to stop littering so they have access to the field. Do not go to this school

I wish Impact had more school spirit. There is not a lot of opportunities at Impact for the average student. However, it is strong in its foundation to support black and brown students and end white supremacy. Impact's teachers are also excellent and teach in a specific way that allows students to become very comfortable with public speaking.

Impact academy is a great school that offers lots of support for the students. Even with the pandemic teachers are trying their best to make sure students don't fall behind. though it does have it's flaws, for example the building itself isn't the best and there aren't any lockers but at least they don't give us heavy text books to carry around and most teacher will let you store your binder in their classes. school lunches are okay but they do give the seniors and i think juniors have off campus lunch but the lower division students don't have that unless they get an off campus lunch pass from a teacher or admin. the sport that impact offers are pretty good too, for example they have base ball (for boys), basket ball (for both boys and girls), soccer (for girls), flag football(for boys), cross country(co ed) and more but i don't remember some of them.
This was my favorite school all until one of the teachers (Not naming names) TOOK MY PORTABLE FAN AND NEVER GAVE IT BACK AT ALL! AND I BOUGHT IT WITH MY OWN MONEY!! Only the 6th grade teachers was kinder than the seventh grade teachers which goes from 1-100 with it being fun, the teachers never be f...
I'm a former IAHS and IAMS student. I transferred out of IAHS after my freshman year due to a seemingly deteriorating administration and staff. I decided to switch to a public high school in Hayward, which, in my opinion, is far better than Impact in terms of resources and opportunities offered to s...
Impact Academy is like a private school education that you get for free. I see some of the reviews here speak very harshly of this school and even though I understand that not everyone can be happy, my experience here has been excellent. The teachers really care. When you ask for help, someone will...
I am forever indebted to the education I received here, which is why I cannot give it a 1-star review. The teachers here are mostly great, with a few exceptions. As an Alumni who graduated last year, I have formed long-lasting bonds with teachers that I am still in contact with, being in college now...
