Hempstead High School's coaching staff are phenomenal. Those coaches go above and beyond to assist every student not only in Athletics but also in academics. Most are role models to each student at our school. My experience with Hempstead High School was our coaches encouraged me, assisted me on guidance, taught me to be patient to overcome the impossible when I was at my most vulnerable stage.

They need to teach what is needed in the classes not the state tests

I would go to this is school for the only reason that the positive things that I have gotten from this school could not have been anywhere else.
