Some of my favorite things at school are the classes and my readiness for college. Other things like the teachers, food and facilities could use improvement. The school is diverse and is full of oppurtunity.

Hendrick Hudson High School is a fairly good school. They care about students concerns a lot, and they care a lot about safety while in school. Over the past year they have added a lot of security in the building. All public schools do have their drama between students and even faculty, yes Hendrick Hudson is no immune to that, but it doesn't make it worse. They have a lot of faculty to help you whenever you need help in school or even with problems at home. It is a great school that i recoment.

For any parent considering this school for a child with special needs, Proceed with caution. While Hen Hud may offer many great things for general education students, its handling of special education leaves much to be desired. Advocacy, persistence, and outside resources will likely be necessary to...

Students at this school are well-prepared for college. There is a great focus on students with special needs, advanced placement, music and art, sports and building a great sense of community through diversity.

We moved here from another state with very highly rated schools. Hen Hud easily eclipses our old school. The AP and honors offerings are numerous, the teachers push kids to become better students, and my son's writing has improved dramatically in Honors English. If you take honors/AP courses, the ho...
