GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My experience at Hermantown High School was definitely one to remember. The tight knit community allowed me to gain friendships that will last a lifetime. I wouldn't have asked for a better High School to attend.

Hermantown High School has been an exceptional school for me for the last 4 years. There has been little to no drama, and everyone gets along pretty well or they just stick with their friend groups. Most teachers are helpful and quick to respond when you need help resolving any issues with homework or grades.

The teachers are all very nice, however, there seems to be a lack of funding for the art departments and a lack of care/knowledge about the LGBTQ+. The food is good, the students are nice for the most part, and the school itself is very nice and safe.
