GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My kids have been at Phoenix for 4 years. My oldest started during covid and has thrived. My youngest has really taking off academically this year. The new math and ELA program is a big jump and change, however it is really clicking with my kids. The additional assistance and read interventions are fantastic programs. Growing pains are common when changing management but I think it it was a great move for Phoenix.

I am a student at this school and although I have been doing well this year with grades. These teachers and Administration is terrible, although it wasn't my math 3 teacher's fault. She's not mentally and generally ready to teach us. She's freshly out of college and was ready to teach 7th grade until one of the teachers left and she had to fill in. In her words "I don't know what I'm doing,I'm learning with yall". Even with us bringing this up administration doesn't care to bring an end to this or figure out for their "students" to actually learn. This school falling apart as we speak.

One of the best school in Triad for the kids. The effort they put to improve the Kids reading and mathematic skill is really very good. With the education most importantly they teach very good manners to Kids.

Phoenix has been a great choice for my kids. We have been at Phoenix for 4 years. There have been growing pains since they have switched to NHA. Having to hold the school to a higher standard has been hard but in the end it will be great. The new Math and ELA programs are a big step up from previous...

I feel obliged to warn other parents away from this school. There were certainly students who fared ok, but my students were terrorized by their teachers (multiple grades), requiring both physical therapy to make up for the constant penalty removals of recess and lack of phys ed, the overuse of work...

We have been so pleased with Phoenix! The teachers are great and communicate well. Our sons are thriving at the primary school.
