Southwest Guilford High School does not have the best reputation for a public school. I have attended two high schools and can recognize the difference between the outside community and the quality of the school. The school's quality is not great, but the community is.

I have been going to Southwest Guildford High School for 4 years. My overall experience has been amazing and I would definitely recommend any upcoming High Schooler to go to Southwest Guilford High School. I have loved all my teachers and also joined the cheerleading team. I have had awesome teachers from the moment I stepped foot into Southwest Guilford High School. I will always love and respect my teachers and my principal as well.

Absolutely horrible school. A joke of a school and a disgrace to reasonable education standards. Students don’t care as much as the administators don’t.

My family and I moved from New York to the Southwest school district. After having contact with the school and with the football coach we thought it would be a good academic and athletic fit for our son. Our son being a B student who ranked in the top 10 running backs in New York State his Sophomore...
