I would like to say that at Highland home of the hornets, It is a very diverse school which is one of my favorite parts about being a part of such a school. With sports you can very much get involved and our support is very strong and prideful of our sportsmanship. I do hope our school can get more funding for our programs and education, such as more books, lowering down prices when it comes to yearbooks and cap and gowns, letter men jackets ect... because many of our students cannot afford these prices and I would hope that could change one day.

I recently started studying at Highland High School since I traveled here in March and commenced school in April right after the spring break. The moment I entered the school I wasn't too amazed but this was because I entered from the back area or the area where guests would come in and the school looked small from there. The administration and staff were very friendly though. They were efficient with their work and helped us get to class real quick. By saying "us" I'm referring to me and my siblings. The classes looked really advanced. They had whiteboards and smartboards too. The furniture was in very good condition and in the classes there were scholastic materials provided. People in the school were not really great. Not all students were welcoming but that's how high school kids are here. The sports are amazing and competitive at this school. This school has a wide range of clubs to choose from. The food may not be the best but it's free and the teachers are excellent.

For the 2014-15 term, Highland got a new principal. He is incredibly driven and strives to make connections with students, supporting them however possible. His enthusiasm is contagious, and he makes it clear he truly cares about students. While there are surely some teachers who are lacking that sa...

We had two students attend and graduate from Highland. Both were in the gifted program, both took honors and AP classes, and both played Varsity sports. Both went onto college out of state and have adjusted well to the demands of college by making the Dean's list. Highland had a very dynamic female...

Would NOT recommend this school if any student may be attending a DODD school afterwards!!! I have two kids that went there (one of which graduated from there). My one kid who went there but not graduated from there, went on to a DODD school and the first year with the DODD school, my kid struggled....
