I am extremely happy with Highlands Elementary. My son transitioned from a private daycare during the height of COVID, after spending two full years at home with me. Naturally, I worried about how he would adapt to a public school setting and whether he might get lost in the larger student populatio...

This school eats money like it's going out of style but does not produce results. It needs to merge with another district that can introduce some leadership.

Terrible school. Teachers don't know about the subject they are teaching. The school is not clean at all. A student spilled yogurt in a classroom in may, and it wasn't cleaned up until the following school year.

I have two kids in this system for 3 years now. They are learning and thriving there. They benefit from the tight knit community of teachers, parents, and administrators who care and are striving to improve each year.
