My experience at STEM has been largely positive. The competitive environment has pushed me to become the best student I can be. However, this same culture can sometimes be quite stressful. At STEM, maintaining a 4.0 GPA is average, and taking at least three AP classes each year is also considered standard. Even a 1300 SAT score can be perceived as below average. While STEM has undoubtedly helped me grow, it can be discouraging when one B among all A's is viewed negatively.

Very safe, friendly staff & teachers to make kids feel welcomed. They have resources available to help students with social and emotional behavior as well as academic support.

Extreme bullying while admin clearly wishes to sweep issues under the rug, and not protect children. Protect your child- do not enroll in this school. This pattern is seen all over the web in reviews and social media posts and blogs.

I have two kids at STEM in 5th and in 9th grade. I am hoping to find a better environment for them, but looking at other school ratings it seems like most of the schools in the state are in disarray. My oldest has been at STEM since 6th grade and my youngest has been there for two years. I feel like...

Whereas I would have given STEM a 5 star rating in the past, the leadership at STEM combined with the STEM Board of Directors leads me to make a one star review. Their constant avoidance of addressing issues, hearing parent concerns, or taking accountability has led this school to crumble. The toxic...

We have all 3 of our children at STEM and have been a STEM family for over 5 years. Yes, COVID and online school and back to in-person school has been tough but STEM has tried VERY hard to keep our kids education a priority. This is a priority for us and therefore are very glad that we were at STEM...
