Bilingualism is a critical skill that builds and brings communities together. At Hoboken Dual Language Charter School, students receive their studies in both Spanish and English and become bilingual citizens who see their community as part of the bigger world.
Recognized as a model dual language program by the New Jersey Department of Education, HoLa teaches students invaluable cognitive and problem-solving skills. It utilizes a well-established immersion approach to dual language education and incorporates a range of opportunities for creative expression and experiential learning while exploring individual passions.
Initially welcoming students from kindergarten through second grade, HoLa has grown every year and graduated its first eighth-grade class in 2017, seven years after opening its doors. Today, HoLa graduates are admitted to some of the best public, private and magnet schools in Hudson County and the region. The school offers a variety of after-school programs and has an Aftercare program where students can complete homework and engage in different activities. HoLa Aventuras is a summer camp that the school hosts that welcomes all children and explores the beauty of Latin American culture and history.

Hola is a Spanish/English bilingual K-5 charter school (applying to expand thru 8th) that has created a diverse, tight-knit and vibrant community for our two kids. They love it. We chose it so our kids would learn a new language, but it's actually offered them a different way of looking at the world...

The richness of the curriculum rivals of the other Charter Schools and private schools in the area, the classrooms are all new, class sizes small, the teachers are dedicated and the Director's experience, passion and subject matter expertise is unsurpassed and..... the kids are getting all this in 2...
