Average or above average children will do well academically at Mountview. For children who struggle it will be the parent's responsibility to make sure the child's needs are being met. Although Mountview has two teams per grade there is none to little communication among the teachers on the team as it relates to the students. I was told they just don't have time. If you reach out to the teachers they will tell you how your child is doing but do not expect any proactive communication even if they are failing a subject. In addition they indicate that the student will get extra support but it is very inconsistent their ability to do so. I would think twice before sending a child who needs any type of extra support to this school.

I’m about to graduate from this school and overall I feel like I learned enough. Some teachers are either too strict or too laid back. The schools hallways are way too cramped, I’ve broke 2 bones inside of this school and received a little help from the nurse. You either get a lot of homework in one...
