GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part of my experience has been the school culture and spirit. I have grown a lot during my time here and have become a lot more independent. I feel that WRHS has prepared me for college and whatever comes next. The worst parts have been the food and the distance between classes at times. If I could suggest a change it would be for healthier food options and better tasting food in the cafeteria.

Wachusett is a very nice school, with well leveled classes. The only problem is some of the teacher teach way to fast. The community is good our sports teams are amazing, so are our art and music departments. It's a good school

It is a very good school, all of the teachers have always been there to help me when I have needed it, and I have made a lot of great friends there through some of the classes there. I've never felt like there wasn't anything I could not get help with if it was something with classwork, or college related. I could always get the help I needed.

The bullying in this school is ignored, and a lot of kids suffer through 4 years here.

My son was well-prepared for college and is graduating a semester early due to AP scores and overall preparation for the academic rigor. He had ample opportunities for extracurriculars and enjoyed his teachers.

For students who have been in the district for years, Wachusett will cater to you. However, my daughter, a bright athletic, personable kid transferred from a suburb near Boston and gave Wachusett her best shot, but found the administration and teachers overall unwelcoming and unsupportive. They do a...
