Hollywood high is overall a pretty good school. I'm coming into my senior year and hollywood has taught me a lot. Especially involving both flim and animation media.

This school is very welcoming to students of any race or differences. The school campus is a somewhat safe place but in my experience there were many lockdowns. The areas surrounding the campus isn't as welcoming. The faculty is very kind and definitely cares about the students. There isn't much given to sports but each sport excels very well. The arts program is amazing and also doesn't receive much help. It is a very friendly place with lots of clubs and sports. There is a very nice afterschool program that helps students. I personally had a good time going to this school and made friends pretty easily with the people here. Theres not much judgement in this school but there were plenty of fights. The bathrooms were mostly always closed so it was hard to find one in an emergency.

Hollywood high school was full of diverse experiences for me. I met a lot of different type of people and similarly met people I come eye to eye with. Meeting my currents friends and having my teachers was the most eye opening experience I had at this school.

I regret sending my child here. The administration particularly is slowly eliminating anything positive like sports programs. Read the article in the LA Times about having all coaches reapplying for their positions, successful and not. A disgrace.

I did not like my experience here academically. The students are highly unmotivated to learn and disrespectful. The only great thing about this school is the musical theatre program. Many dedicated, passionate and hardworking students participate in the musical production. There is still some drama...
