Mckinley High School was a great high school that showcased the Tiger Pride; to be brave, be diligent, and have the courage to help each other to build strong Ohana on the campus. The teachers were caring and nice, the food was average to mediocre, and the school activity wanted to spread harmony to every grade.

There are some weird students here and there but overall people are quite friendly. Besides there are really cool stem classes here from engineering to automobile and electronic mechanics.

McKinley is rich with its history and values pride and tradition. Throughout the school year there would be assemblies and booths that makes you feel more bonded to this small community and have an event to free yourself from academic stress for a while. A lot of teachers and staff are there to help you emotionally and academically as long as you open yourself up to them, make friends with them and you'll see how beneficial it is when it comes to post-high school planning.

I feel like it has been an average experience. I haven’t been to other high schools so I don’t know how to compare but it has all sorts of people. 4.5 gpa students, students who don’t even come to class, teachers who really suck at teaching and teachers who you wish was your teacher for all subjects...

She seems very bright and has a wonderful disposition. However... Recently, I had a conversation with this child and it turned out that she was virtu...

McKinley is in my opinion one of the best public school in the state of Hawaii. It has a few problems, like any other school but it also has a long list of pro to combat the con. Cons: -Many of the students are ESL and the teacher have to slow down in order to help them, which is awesome, but these...
