Some teachers are not the greatest but the good ones make up for it. I've found some incredible people to hang around and some teachers here are really supportive of everyone.

What I love about Mckinley High School is the different academies that we have. The academy that I'm in is the business one and we have access to a lot of field trips. Thanks to this I was able to go to places such as the lei conference. Also the counselors and college prep teachers are very helpful and nice.

There was a lot of opportunities here! I made lots of friends that I still get in touch with. My three other siblings has also gone here.

I feel like it has been an average experience. I haven’t been to other high schools so I don’t know how to compare but it has all sorts of people. 4.5 gpa students, students who don’t even come to class, teachers who really suck at teaching and teachers who you wish was your teacher for all subjects...

McKinley is in my opinion one of the best public school in the state of Hawaii. It has a few problems, like any other school but it also has a long list of pro to combat the con.
