Amazing academic school with tons of clubs and ways to get involved, school culture strong, supportive teachers and administration, poor sports.

The school definitely pushes you to your limits academically. If you don't really want to go or your parents are pushing you to go, you will probably drop out or be miserable. This is not to scare others it's simply the reality of going to a high school with such a vigorous academic curriculum and high exceptions. However, I think the school has taught me how to keep a schedule which will be important in college as well as to prioritize my mental and emotional health.

Freshman year was tough especially the first semester, now I’ve gotten a hold of my time management. I really like my teachers and the overall vibe and energy at Carnegie. I have found my peers to be supportive and everyone sort of pushes each other to succeed. I feel challenged and feel like my tea...

This is a good school, but a few issues have to be addressed that need to be corrected. There should be more scrutiny of students especially during their free times in the hallways and in the empty classrooms and in the theatre as well, at times like at lunch times. Teenagers will be attracted to ea...

If you decide to go here, keep in mind that the homework load is to the extremes and work in general is very very hard. You have to learn a lot by your self but if you ar...
