The seventh and eighth grade students at Holub Middle School recite their school creed daily, ending with a rousing, “Today will be a great day!" That's because the scholars at Holub are working on fulfilling their motto: School like it should be!
Holub's art club is one student-centered organization helping with a new way to do school. Club members assist everyone who asks with creating, organizing and presenting art. They examine art vocations through field trips and research and explore advanced mediums and techniques, while members also learn silk-screening to produce their own shirts.
Located at 9515 S. Dairy Ashford Rd., Holub educates about 900 students. Boasting above-average academic progress, Holub is fulfilling academic expectations as many students are also participating in the Alief school district’s career and technical education program.
In Alief, students can dabble in career exploration in intermediate school and start to drill down to specifics in middle school. After taking career assessments and conferring with a transition counselor, Holub students take introductory courses to learn more about high school options. If they’re interested in pursuing the path further, they’ll work with a transition counselor to finalize high school plans for workforce certification or college credit toward an associate degree.

This is the worst school I have ever experienced in regards to administration is disgusting that only two administration and a 3 of these so called specialist contribute to the poor performance of the Holub MS. The Kids are actually good kids but tend to act out due the high teacher turn over rate.
