Go Red! Go Blue! Go Mavericks! Located in Briar Village, Miller Intermediate School is home to the Mavericks and is a public school option for intermediate students. The school is named after Judy Miller, a dedicated teacher who spent 24 years teaching in Alief ISD.
As an Alief ISD intermediate campus, Miller Intermediate gifted students participate in the AIMS program which is a full-time gifted class model.
A wide variety of sports are offered, such as basketball, football, track, and volleyball. Music, choir, dance, and more are all part of the Performing and Visual Arts Programs.
Miller Intermediate was the first school in the district to implement a cheerleading program in the spring of 2014. It began as a way to introduce students to cheer and as a way to collaborate with other campuses.
Throughout the school year, Miller Intermediate School hosts a variety of sporting events, book fairs and other events. Families are invited to campus to attend events such as Grandparent’s day.
At Miller Intermediate, students are able to participate in a variety of sports and extracurricular activities while receiving a great education.

I love this school! My older daughter went to Miller a few years back and now my youngest is attending. When we moved I made sure to stay in Millers zone so she could be at Miller. miller intermediate is awesome i love all the great and funny teachers that work here. i hope whoever reads this comes to miller intermediate it is my first year and i already love it i wish i could never leave!!!
