O’Donnell Middle School at 14041 Alief Clodine Rd. is one of the Alief school district’s best middle schools. Home of the Mighty Mustangs, the school educates almost 1400 students in 7th and 8th grades. It’s located at 14041 Alief Clodine Rd.
On the academic front, O'Donnell students are doing as well as other Texas students in terms of test scores. All students, including typically underserved populations, make above-average academic progress year-over-year.
If students are considering career or technology training, they can start that process at O’Donnell. After completing a career assessment, students meet with a counselor and choose one of three endorsements: public services, business and industry, or STEM (an acronym for Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). Students then take introductory classes. If they like them, they can take higher-level vocational courses in high school and earn certifications or even associate degrees.
One popular vocational program that plays on the Alief area’s strengths is culinary arts. Culinary arts classes include Baking and Pastry and Restaurant Management. Students who want to see the world, helm their own restaurant, or simply create great food help operate a student-run restaurant at the Alief Center for Advanced Careers.

Most of the teachers at O'Donnell were awesome; Ms Tran, and Ms Amadi, but there were teachers who didn't know what they were doing like, Ms Pierre . In overall the school was very engaging the made it really memorable for me I loved, the pep rallies, the athletics, the clubs and organization and most especially the dance team, they really should keep up the good work.

The AP's Wheaton and Thompson are so disrespectful to students and parents. They single kids out and degrade them in anyway they could. The teaching in core subjects like math reading and all are not good. They pick and choose who they want to help and don't help. Nothing gets better are has been do...

Also, O'Donnell has a football team, cheerleading and track which is not listed on this site. The coaches are great!!!
