The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I think my best experience in Sterling High School would be getting into the automotive program. I say this is my best because as teen female a lot of car dealerships or mechanics like to take advantage of females knowledge because I simply don't know enough. This program has helped me learn more about the car parts and even how to replace some of them. I learned how to do an oil change, replace tiers, how alignment works, replacing the rim of a tire, how to fill them with air, how to even out the tires, etc.

The thing I like about sterling is our fine arts department as everyone involved does their best and expects the best of every student they encounter.
