Our school has a bad reputation with having a large case of obstructed instruction time due to events like frequent lockdowns that would reach for two class periods, lack of education readiness, and few people interested in the core subjects.

The students are very outgoing and a significant portion of the population are Hispanics, thus most of the time your classmates speak in Spanish. It's very nice to see the faculty and staff accommodate to this as most of them are also fluent in the language. As for the academics, it is not rigorous at all unless you are in the college/AP classes offered by the school. For the athletic aspect, I have no idea although I've heard that the sports teams are not doing very well. The students are quite... unique too.

This is the worst school I have seen. I have 4 children and only 1 goes to this school because they wanted to be close to home. I met the principle 1 time this year and witnessed him being a bully to a student by shouting in his face. It was embarrassing for everyone to watch. The teachers give out...

Excellent and dedicated teachers who go the extra mile for their students. Principal is always available to those in the community and truly cares for the students. Great school, challenging programs and award winning departments ( fine arts, athletics, etc). Proud to be an Apollo Alumni
