I visited many schools before choosing St Francis de Sales Catholic School. You felt a sense of welcomeness the minute you walked into the building. I was impressed with how many of the teachers graduated from this school and/or are sending their own children to he school.

All Faculty, Staff and Parent Volunteers are VIRTUS trained with a background check as mandated by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. The school has a full time Registered Nurse on duty 5 days per week.

My experiences while attending elementary and middle and school at SFDS seem much less stressful/dramatic than those of my friends who attended other Houston Catholic schools. SFDS had a pleasant, nurturing environment, in my opinion.

First, let me say that SFDS was once a very good school. It is no longer a good school.SFDS used to have a solid reputation.
