St. Thomas More Parish School is a Catholic school recognized as a STREAM Synergy School by the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. An acronym for science, technology, religion, engineering, arts, and mathematics, STREAM is designed to explore the wonder of God by developing curiosity, honing critical thinking skills and encouraging students to be lifelong learners.
A two-time Blue Ribbon School Award winner, St. Thomas More enrolls around 500 students in grades K-8. Recognizing that parents are partners in education, the school prioritizes parent involvement and communication. Extracurricular activities include art club, band, the National Junior Honor Society Beta Club, chess, robotics and choir. St. Thomas More also offers an assortment of competitive sports for boys and girls. Students can choose from football, basketball, baseball, cheerleading, pep squad, volleyball, soccer and track and field.
Students at St. Thomas More Parish School are challenged in a rigorous academic environment where they also have the opportunity to participate in programs such as a science fair, art contest and spelling bee to name a few.
