GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Overall, my experience at Huntingdon High School was very good. The teachers are caring and perform their job. The academics set you up to be ready for highschool. When I graduate, I will have completed over 4 of my college credits. One thing I would change is the lunch. For the students who are low income and have no choice but to eat the cafeteria food, it is upsetting. Especially kids who get last lunch.

My favorite part about my high school years was being able to cheer at Paul Ward Stadium under them Friday night lights. Huntingdon is very well known fr football because we are a football loving town. Everyone in town comes to support the Huntingdon Mustangs on Friday nights, and there is nothing else like it.
