In this school, there were not many clubs to choose from, and you had to have the club as an elective. The types of clubs we have had at this school has been National Junior Honor Society, AVID, Leadership, and a couple of others. the level of commitment was average. For me, I had volunteered in teacher's classrooms after school to help organize and grade class papers. The most popular activities had been sports such as track and field and basketball. The administration supported all of these activities.

This school is unique because it taught me perseverance. In my experience, I had failed a few of my classes in the seventh grade. However, in the eighth grade, I was able to get a 4.0 because my teachers believed in me and had pushed me to be the very best I could be. My favorite memory must have been when I was chosen as the Masonic Award winner, an award that was given to a student who has a high GPA, who volunteers, and who is an exceptional role model. it was the highlight of my time at the school because it had shown me what happens when you push yourself to be the best student you can be, and what happens when you actually try in your classes. I would choose this school all over again because I enjoyed the teachers and the classes I had taken.

Hi! I'm currently attending Stacey as a 7th grader. I am one of the members of the Stacey Asb Leadership team. I feel like Stacey is a great school and offers many clubs and opportunities for kids. Although most of the people I'm around don't want to learn. They are always tired saying they had to m...

My son is in 8th grade at Stacey. I went to Stacey as a child and hated it. His experience is the polar opposite. Prinicpal DeBritton has made it a place where kids want to come and feel safe. There is no bullying. The middle school drama is kept to a minimum. The teachers are great and the use of t...

The best compliment I can give this school is that my son is Happy! He told me the other day, "the teachers care". When my son is happy I am happy. This says a lot for the Principal and staff.
