Established in 1967, Hope View Elementary is a public school in the Ocean View School District. Located at 17622 Flinstone Ln., in the city of Huntington Beach, the school enrolls approximately 575 students and serves transitional kindergarten through fifth grade. Home of the Hawks, Hope View Elementary has 22 credentialed classrooms and works to provide a nurturing environment for students where the goal is academic, social and emotional success. A California Distinguished School Recipient, students at Hope View Elementary scored far above statewide averages in math and reading. The school provides a strong academic program focused on the core studies of English, math, reading, science and physical education. For an elementary school it really does help the students get exposed to a lot of different types of subjects to find our strongest suit in education. Though it isn't really good or bad, it doesn't have a very diverse environment, which prevents a boy from a minority, like me from interacting with the kids really well. Especially since the mindsets about education is very defined and divided.

Hope View is a great school... and is known in the District for it. Teachers care, Parents care, children care. When you speak with other parents in the city and you say that your kiddos go to Hope; they all have "heard amazing things" about Hope View kids.
