My student has an opportunity to participate in the student jobs program, the battle of the books program, the student choir program. There are several other things offered that do not interest him. Overall I think the school does an excellent job of providing opportunities for elementary students.

W.A. Porter is the best we could hope for. It is such a strong knit community. The teachers and staff are very involved, welcoming, inclusive and treat parents and students with respect. It’s clear they CARE about their students.

We absolutely love Porter. This is our 4th year and I can’t say enough good things about this school. Every staff member, including teachers, custodians, and office personnel truly care about the students. Both of my children went to Porter from kindergarten all the way through 5th grade and loved every minute of it. One is a boy and the other is a girl and they were both very prepared for middle school!
