Solid school overall. Not really lacking in anything but I wouldn't say it is particularly extraordinary in any way.

My time at Hut hinson High School overall has been a good one. The administration is top notch and have offered me a ton of support. Most of my teachers have helped me learn to fight to be the best that I can be and help me when I was stuck. The sports programs they offer are very unorganized and unprofessional. They select you on who you are and how much you're family makes and that needs to change. Its the main reason that I left volleyball in High School and chose to focus on my level of play at the club/competitive level. I wish that the coaches were held more responsible and chose players based on performance. The art program is strong and the teachers in this department are amazing but not recognized or honored the way they deserve. I would like to see a lot change in these areas to provide a better high school experience for everyone.

My high school I had the best times, my best mates and I would always eat together and go to classes together. We played sports together as well, I would say the worst part was we had 5 classes total but they were one-hour twenty-minute classes so they felt so long. What I would like to see change would probably be the way they prepare for ACT.

During my time as a student, there was an ample amount of courses that could be taken whether it was electives or higher education. The teachers were easy to get along with and always pushed you to your potential and even above it.

HHS is concerned about the who community in Hutchinson, not just the wealthy north side. Despite the segregation, HHS maintains high quality programs that are accessible to all.

I graduated in 1997! Back then it was an incredible school, there was no high technology or even Air Conditioning! Think the kids today are way to spoiled! Best part of HHS was the band!!!
