Throughout my four years at Imperial High School, I would say I had an amazing time. At times I did question the schools, such as the buildings. Most of the classrooms are in trailers. Which I am not a fan of. You can hear any little movement and if it's a windy day, you most definitely can hear the wind outside. Also I wish Imperial provided more career focused classes. Most of the classes that are provided are basic and boring. But other than that, Imperial is an overall good school. It is very much a safe school as well.

I would like to see more career readiness opportunities and more pathways available for students. The best parts of the school were how close the community was so everyone was involved. However due to that small community there hasn't been an opportunity for growth and new classes and learning to be available.

I enjoyed my time at Imperial High School, however I really wish they were more understanding about certain things, like being absent because of an emergency. Most teachers will not accept late work even if you have a good reason for being absent, but many teachers will listen if you talk to them. Also, many of the staff are rude and I would wish that could change.

The campus is very bland and boring and small. The security people are always zooming past all the students on their carts and one of these days they’re gonna run someone over. The students are disrespectful and rude and the office staff is very lazy.

Freshman year, good overall so far. Invested principal, some teachers are gems and some are problematic. If your student has a 504 plan you’re probably going to need to stay heavily involved to make sure student is receiving proper accommodations and not being penalized. Building is in dire need of...
